Mary Earlene January

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Mary Earlene January, 78, of Eldorado, passed away at 3:20 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at Fountainview Nursing Home.

She was the wife of Dan January. They were married 61 years.

Earlene was born in Eldorado, on Feb. 19, 1931, the daughter of the late Earl and Gladys Loretta (Bean) Pryor.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Eldorado.

She was a homemaker.

Earlene is survived by two daughters, Betty (Denny) Gholson of Raleigh and Mary (Joe) Harris of Eldorado; and a son, Dannie January of Eldorado. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Earlene is also survived by three sisters, Evelyn (Neal) Lewis of Wayne City, Martha (Denzil) Towle of Chicago and Faye (Glenn) Vangampler of Carmi; and a brother, Shannon Pryor of Eldorado.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Peterson.

Funeral services will be at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, with the Rev. Julie Allison officiating.

Friends may call 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
