OBITUARY: Randall Ray Brannock
Randall Ray Brannock, 74 of 403 W. Harrison St., Carrier Mills, died 10:50 a.m. Friday April 24, 2015, at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery with military rites by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and the Army National Guard Ritual Team.
He was born on Dec. 29, 1940, in Saline County, to the late Everett and Sylvia Lorene (Pankey) Brannock.
He worked as a butcher for many years at the Dallas Food Market in Carrier Mills. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion, and a member of the First Church of God in Carrier Mills.
He is survived by a brother: Robert "Bob" Brannock of Carrier Mills; nephews: Mike (Billie) Wendler Sr. of Carrier Mills, Ed (Lynn) Wendler of Coal City and Bobby Brannock of Houston, Texas; nieces: Twana (Jerry) Risley of Harrisburg and Becky Brannock of Joilet; great-nephews: Mike (Kelly) Wendler Jr. of Harrisburg and Marshall (Brittany) Watkins of Carrier Mills.
He was a wonderful brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend.
