Peggy Jean Horton
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Peggy Jean Horton, 80, of Eldorado, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009, in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Peggy was born in Equality on Dec. 10, 1928, the daughter of the late Clem and Eva (Bruce) Nash.
She was the wife of Paul Horton who preceded her in death. They were married Dec. 31, 1948.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Eldorado.
She was a homemaker.
Peggy is survived by two sons, Greg (Cynthia) Horton of Kissimmee, Fla. and Bruce Horton of Belleville. She is also survived by grandchildren, Shawn (Margaret) Horton of Henderson, Ky., Brandi Horton of Henderson, Ky., Robert (Diana) Frost of St. Cloud, Fla. and Nanette (Robert) Wickersham of Lakeland, Fla.; and six great-grandchildren, Shelby Horton, Sydney Horton, Whitney Horton, Nila Frost, Autumn Frost, Nicolin Wickersham.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rod Nash; and a sister, Sue Sterling.
Peggy was cremated at her request and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church in Eldorado with the Rev. Walter Baker officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are from Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Eldorado. Envelopes will be available at the church.
