</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Billy Gene Isoline, 78 of Metropolis, passed away at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at the Western Baptist Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis. The Rev. Roy Davison will officiate. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with military rites. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis. Masonic rites will be conducted at 6 p.m.
He leaves his beloved wife of 27 years, Alice of Metropolis; two sons, Billy Isoline Jr. of Metropolis and Billy John and wife Tammy of Lone Oak Ky.; one daughter, Damona Harris and husband Harry of Joppa; his stepchildren, who he loved as his own: One stepdaughter, Kathy Story and husband Norris, three stepsons, Robert Brenningmeyer and wife Jeanette, Stephen Brenningmeyer and wife Carolyn, and James Benard and wife Crystal, all of Metropolis; six grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five great-stepgrandchildren; one brother, Charles Isoline and wife Norma of Texas; two nieces and two nephews; brother-in-law, Tom LaVeau of Metropolis; one uncle, Dale Jones and wife Bonnie; and cousins of Harrisburg and Metropolis; and many, many friends.
