Obituary: Mary Rose Baker

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary Rose Baker, 81, of 1200 Organ St. in Eldorado, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg.

She was born in Eldorado on Oct. 30, 1930, to the late Glenn W. and Gladys (Pack) Cox. She married Robert L. Baker on Oct. 5, 1947, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church where she played the organ.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Kay Baker of Eldorado; two grandchildren, Wendy Kay "Kali" Brown of Champaign and Dusty Jo (Randy) Burleson of Gig Harbor, Wash; four great-grandchildren, Robby Brown of Harrisburg, Dustin Brown of Harrisburg, Chesna Burleson of Gig Harbor, Wash. and Nathan Reline of Gig Harbor, Wash. She is also survived by three brothers, Robert E. "Bobby" (Dorothy) Cox of Eldorado, Gerald D. Cox of Chicago and Frank (Mary Lou) Cox of Harrisburg; and one sister, Donna (Jack) DeLap of Evansville, Ind.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Watson Funeral Home with Pastor John Lomacang officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Adventist Church and left at the funeral home.
