Muddy Road apartments burglarized

Saline County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the break in and burglary of two apartments at the apartment complex at Muddy Road near Southeastern Illinois College.

Deputies spoke to Aljandro Aquilar who reported finding items missing from the 4449 Muddy Road apartments 2B and 2D Thursday, according to a sheriff's report.

Missing were a television, a Marlin .22 Mag bolt action rifle, a speaker and vapor equipment. James Kimber also reported a rifle and X Box One missing. James Barnard said his safe containing a World Champion Skeet Shooting Ring and watches was gone. Justin Schwankhaus and Quinten Smith reported a Glock 19 handgun and Remington 870 shotgun missing.
