OBITUARY: Daryl Wayne “Birddog” Yarber
Daryl Wayne "Birddog" Yarber, 63, resident of Eldorado passed away April 16, 2015, at his residence.
Daryl was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Harrisburg, to the late Thurman O. and Ruby (Teal) Yarber. He was a Vietnam War Veteran. He married the former Vivian Knight who survives.
In addition to his wife Vivian, he is survived by three sons, Michael (Ella) Yarber of W.Va., Clarence (Krystal) Yarber of Eldorado, Jonathan (Edna) Yarber of Eldorado; five stepdaughters, Thressa Fedan of Florida, Elizabeth Fedon of Florida, Victoria Borst of Florida, Nichole Kessler of Flora, Jeannie Kessler of Flora; brothers, Lester D. Yarber of Eldorado, Orley Yarber of Eldorado, Roger Yarber of Eldorado, Roy K. Yarber of Kentucky, Johnnie Yarber of Eldorado, Leslie Yarber of Harrisburg, Robert Yarber of Galatia; sisters, Barbara Ann Brown of Wasson, Wanda Mae Thomas of Harrisburg, his twin, Martha Bourland of Omaha, Lenitta Yarber of Cave-In-Rock, Brenda Yarber of Kentucky, Karen Holland of Galatia; 14 grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Valerie Holt of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Glendal Yarber; and a sister, Carolyn Pankey.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Toby Hise officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral services.
