Obituary: Geraldine Bardos
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Geraldine Bardos, 81, of Harrisburg, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Saline Care Center.
Geraldine was born in Harrisburg on May 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Ella Pearl (Wicks) and Isham Threet.
She was a homemaker.
She was the widow of Bill Bardos, who preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 2003. The were married Feb. 27, 1950.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Charles Hamiln, Jr. of Harrisburg, Terry Wayne (Amanda) Hamiln of Harrisburg, Pattie (Mark) Hardin of Harrisburg, Brent Hardin of Harrisburg, Daren Hardin of Harrisburg, Sandy (Gary) Clayton of Harrisburg, LaDonna (Jim) Jackson, Harrisburg and Chris Head of Indiana; great-nieces and nephews, Brenda Riley of Harrisburg, Susane Jones, Marilyn Moore, Paul Walker of Harrisburg and Ashley Walker of Harrisburg; and a cousin, Betty Hagan of Evansville, Ind.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a twin sister, Imogene Hamlin.
Funeral service will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, with the Rev. Ownly Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at the funeral home.
