Prep Baseball: Betz belts 3 home runs for Wildcats

Darren Betz hit three home runs Thrusday as the Carrier Mills-Stonefort baseball team knocked off Galatia 17-4 in five innings.

The Wildcats improve to 7-3 on the season and Betz now has 11 home runs on the year.

CMSF went to work in the second inning with Betz leading off with a home run and that was followed by a Ethan Davis single and Anthony Kalodner being hit by a pitch. Justice Hill, Jonah Crowder and Bryce Batson all had RBI singles. Whiting then drove in a pair on a double and Betz hit his second home run of the inning. The inning ended on RBI's by Crowder and Batson.

In the third, Betz belted third home run, this was coming with another runner on.
