Obituary: Phillip Morse

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Phillip Morse, 52, of 1902 Truman Drive, Marion, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at Springhill Cemetery near Stonefort. There will be no visitation, all friends should go directly to the cemetery. The Rev. John Parton will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family in lieu of flowers. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Aug. 9, 1959, in Harrisburg to the late Harold and Thelma (Martin) Morse.

He married the former Mary Holmes on Jan. 4, 2000, and she survives.

He is also survived by eight children, Phillip (Tara) Morse Jr. of Marion, Jason (Michelle) Morse of Carrier Mills, Gregory (Misty) Morse of Eldorado, Kimberly (Bobby) Stone of Carrier Mills, Sarah Morse and Emily Morse both of Marion, Justin (Megan) Owens and Samantha Duty, both of Carrier Mills; a brother, Eddie (Theresa) Morse of Stonefort; a sister, Roberta (Larry) Massey of Eldorado; and nine grandchildren.
