Reid Roper - Illinois

Roper went 2-for-3 with a run and a walk as Illinois swept Purdue Monday, winning 2-1, tying the longest active win streak in the nation with 10 straight victories. UI added to that total at 11 when the Illini knocked off Illinois State 7-3 Tuesday.

Roper finished 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI against the Redbirds. Roper is hitting .324 on the season and has a team best 33 runs scored and 33 RBI to go with 45 hits and the senior is slugging .537 on the season.

Ryne Roper - Illinois

Roper went 0-3 as Illinois swept Purdue Monday, winning 2-1, tying the longest active win streak in the nation with 10 straight victories. UI added to that total at 11 when the Illini knocked off Illinois State 7-3 Tuesday. Roper went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Roper is hitting .219 with 28 hits on the season. The sophomore has scored eight runs and hit 17 RBI.and is slugging .289 on the year.
