Prep Baseball: Bulldogs' rally falls short to Benton

Harrisburg rallied, but couldn't seal the deal, falling to rival Benton 5-4 in eight innings Thursday at Doris Heights.

After trailing most of the game and 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh, the Harrisburg baseball team rallied thanks in part by a Britton Riden single scoring Austin Hefner from second to tie the game at 4-all.

Noah Vallette had three hits on the day, while Bryce Emery had two.

Harrisburg travels to Pleasant Plains for a weekend series starting today (Friday).
