Edward L. Eubanks

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Edward L. Eubanks, 73, Lockport, formerly of Ridgway, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008, in Palos Community Hospital in Lockport.

Ed was born on March 29, 1935, in Ridgway to the late Leo (Wilmetta) Eubanks. Edward was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Moose Lodge in Lockport. He had retired from Fisher Body in Willow Springs as a supervisor. Ed was married to the former Wanda (Hathaway) Eubanks, who preceded him in death this year.

He is survived by his loving family, son, David (Mary) Eubanks; daughter, Ronda Eubanks; grandchild, Michelle Eubanks; sister, Carolyn (late Jerry) Hathaway; and great-nieces and nephews, Steven, Keith, Meagan and Robin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and children, Glenn Keith Jennings, Dennis Ray Eubanks and John Douglas Eubanks.

Visitation for Edward will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway. A prayer service will be said at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway with Father Mark Stec officiating. Interment will be in Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Ridgway American Legion and VFW. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to the Jackson Cemetery.
