Etta Mariah Davis

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Etta Mariah Davis, 79, of Galatia, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at her home in Galatia.

She was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Galatia to the late John A. and Beulah (Tate) Gill.

She was a dog groomer for several years and loved her babies, as she called them.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Elaine Gill; two nephews, Fred and Gary Gill; and a cousin, Nancy Zukosky, and several other cousins.

She was preceded by her parents; a son, Floyd A. Mohler; two brothers, Fred and Ora Gill; and an aunt, Ella Fred.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with a graveside service following at the Tate's Chapel Cemetery, Galatia, with Terry Kielhorn officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or the Wild Life Federation and left at the funeral home.
