Clayborn Dale Norman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Clayborn Dale Norman, 74, of Galatia, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home in Morris on his birthday, Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008. He was born in Pankeyville to the late Clayborn Walter and Betty (Butler) Norman.

Surviving are his wife Mary (Murrow), whom he married Oct. 31, 1953, in Harrisburg; children, Clay Norman of Ft. Worth, Texas, Rhonda (John) Stanley of Morris, John (Michelle) Norman of Naperville, Larry (Linda) Norman of Plainfield and William (Jennifer) Norman of Morris; grandchildren, Matthew and Leslie Norman, Joe and Amy Norman, John and Mary Stanley, David and Kimberly Schillo, Kyle and Raice Norman. He is also survived by two sisters, Catherine Naab and Geneva Nash of Winter Haven, Fla.; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elsie Rose Lands; and two brothers, J.W. Norman and Jack Norman.

He retired from R.A. Bright Construction Co. and was also employed by Norman Oil Co. He will fondly be remembered as a kind and gentle man who enjoyed his family, horses and Tinkerbell.

The Norman family would like to thank Southern Illinois Hospice, Joliet Area Community Hospice, Morris Fire Department Paramedics and the Anatomical Gift Association for their excellent care, guidance and support.

As it was Mr. Norman's wish, his remains have been transferred to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois to further medical research.
