Doris Wexstten

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Doris Wexstten, 83, of 705 S. Houston, Taylorville, formerly of Nokomis, died 11:43 a.m. Saturday, Oct., 25, 2008, at Taylorville Health Care.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis with Pastor Rodney Bloomquist officiating.

She was born Nov. 6, 1924, in Nokomis to Jacob and Clara (Doerr) Ruppert. On Jan. 11, 1947, she married Henry C. Wexstten at St. Paul's in Nokomis, and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1991.

She was a retired business owner and a Lutheran.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry (Ann) Wexstten of Herrin, Jim (Darla) Wexstten of Mount Vernon and Bob (Kathy) Wexstten of Taylorville; several grandchildren, Andrew Wexstten, Lisa Clarida, Amanda (Trevor) Johnson, Brett (Val) Wexstten, Erin Wexstten, Nikki (David) Carrion, Bria (Danny) Robinson, Zachary Jones, Michael (Trudy) Dimming and Jerod Wexstten; and a brother, Delmar Ruppert.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, Chester Ruppert, Verna Graden, Lela Schwartzle, Helen Mindrup and Irwin Ruppert.
