Wisconsin students to help clean city

Harrisburg First Presbyterian Church will be the overnight host to 40 Wisconsin college students and the city will reap the rewards Saturday.

The students are in the Students Today, Leaders Forever club of University of Wisconsin and are attending that club's national conference in Nashville, Tenn., Saturday evening.

They will arrive Friday night at the church, have a supper of Mackie's Pizza, sleep in the church and be out bright and early 8 a.m. Saturday to pick up litter around Harrisburg, according to Harrisburg City Clerk Sally Wofford. The students plan to depart Harrisburg at 1 p.m. for Nashville, Tenn.

The club provides community service in exchange for free lodging on its travels.
