Illini looking to settle the score with Eric Gordon, Hoosiers

When Indiana freshman guard Eric Gordon jilted Illinois, reneged on a verbal commitment and eventually committed to the Hoosiers in a mysterious recruiting scenario that included anonymous Internet messages and enough disinformation to win an election, even Illinois freshman Mike Tisdale -- resident Mr. Nice Guy -- admitted it "somewhat disappointing.''

That's like saying the stock market downturn has "somewhat'' trimmed everyone's 401(k), or the Illini basketball season has been "somewhat'' of a letdown.
