Woody Allen to direct opera

Woody Allen will be doing some major stretching of his wings later this year when he directs his first opera - a production of Puccini's comedy "Gianni Schicchi," the story of a scheming man who's asked for help by a revolting disinherited family, and manages to keep some of the spoils for himself.
