Videos: Tornado touches down in Illinois
At least a half dozen homes were damaged in northern Boone County, Ill., on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, after a tornado tornado struck northeast of Poplar Grove in the area of Beaverton, Centerville and Stimes roads.
Edwards Apple Orchard in Poplar Grove was heavily damaged by Monday's tornado. It's been a popular destination for thousands of Rock River Valley residents over the years.
