'07 safest in a decade on the water

Last year was a safer-than-average year for boaters. In fact, it was the safest boating season in more than two decades, according to statistics released by the Missouri Water Patrol this week.

The numbers show there are more sober drivers on the lake, and they are paying closer attention to their boating habits.
