‘Bar is raised' for future Illini football teams

The world has changed for the Illinois football program in Ron Zook's third season as coach.

Now that the Illini proved they can win, expectations have changed. It might have been easier on Zook and the Illini if they made a gradual step, edged past the .500 mark and played in a lower-tier bowl.
