OBITUARY: Edna “Pauline” Harris

Edna "Pauline" Harris, 88, of Waterford, Mich., died Friday, April 17, 2015.

She was the loving wife of Lowell "Albert" Harris for 68 years; beloved mother of Brenda (Claude) McCoy, Connie (John) Thompson, Paula Condon and the late David Harris; dear sister of Wanda Abney and was preceded in death by five siblings. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris was a member of High View Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Smith-Moore Center.

The family will receive friends 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, Mich. Mrs. Harris will be taken to the Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg, Illinois for a 2 p.m. graveside service, Wednesday, April 22, 2015, and burial at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Medical Team Hospice of Flint, Mich.
