Mike Nadel: Gordon, Bulls are fooling themselves
Editors: Graph near the end starting "After practice" was updated to change to correct day of practice.
Ben Gordon is delusional. Or maybe he just received bad advice. Either way, the only good thing to have happened for the Chicago Bulls this season was Gordon rejecting their five-year, $50 million contract offer.
Gordon has a point guard's build, but he's neither ballhandler nor distributor. He has a shooter's mentality, but his career percentage is .429. He is quick, but he lacks defensive instincts. He is the team's best clutch scorer, but that's a little like being the best custodial choice for the Spears-Federline children.
