OBITUARY: Larry Harmon Davis

Larry Harmon Davis, 72 of Raleigh, passed away 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He was born Nov. 13, 1943, to the late Virgil H. Davis and Dorothy Gunter Davis Adams. On April 24, 1964, he married Carla Millspaugh and she survives. Larry was a proud, lifelong farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Carla; his mother Dorothy Adams of Harrisburg; one son, Tim (Debbie) Davis; one daughter, Dena Byrd, both of Eldorado; one sister, Alice Regina (Suzie) Roberts of Eldorado; three grandchildren, Heather Rentfro of Royalton, Hunter Davis and Max Davis, both of Eldorado; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Lou Rentfro.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Davis.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Jarrod Barton officiating. Burial will be in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
