Obituary: Jimmy Barnet Hill

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jimmy Barnet Hill, 67, Harrisburg, passed away at his home at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.

He is survived by his wife, his mother, two daughters, two sons, a stepson, three sisters, three brothers, a half-sister, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, where friends called after 9 a.m. Pastor Brian Smith officiated and burial will be in Joyner Cemetery in Stonefort.

The family prefers memorials take the form of donations to the Stonefort Seventh-day Baptist Church or Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
