Obituary: Clarissa Gail Tipton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Clarissa Gail Tipton, 37, of Evansville, Ind. formerly of Ridgway, passed away at the home of her mother in Ridgway at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011.

She was born on Aug. 29, 1974 in Eldorado. Clarissa married Tom L. Tipton Jr. on May 2, 2009.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant.

Clarissa is survived by her husband, Tom Tipton of Evansville, Ind.; two sons, Brayden and Braxton Overfield, both of Ridgway; her mother, Brenda and Glenn Lynch of Ridgway; five sisters, Melissa and Les Sutton of Murray, Ky., Salina DeBose and Daniel Overfield of Ridgway, Bessie and Richie Pennington, also of Ridgway and Cheryl and Ashley DeBose, both of Morganfield, Ky.; one brother, Brian Reynolds of Ridgway; one niece, Breanna; and six nephews, Kyle, Kalob, Gavyn, Ryan, Lathyn and Kole.

Visitation for Clarissa will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, with the Rev. Ownly Williams officiating with cremation to follow services.
