</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[John Lewis Hish, 80, Dale, died 10:55 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Herb Buche officiating. Burial will be in Digby Hill Cemetery in Dale with military rites by the American Legion and VFW Post of Eldorado. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, the former Louise Harrawood; mother; a daughter; a son-in-law; two granddaughters; stepgranddaughter; three great-stepgrandchildren; and a sister.
