Obituary: Carla J. Burton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carla J. Burton, 65, of Herod, died at 3:35 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion.

She was a member of Dorrisville Baptist Church and attended Bethany Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Carlos Burton of Herod; son, Michael Burton of Herod; daughter, Kelly Winters of Cave-In-Rock; mother, Mary Malone of Rosiclare; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Neighbors; and one sister.

Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare with interment in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at the funeral home.
