Death Notice: George Burnis Dixon

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[George Burnis Dixon, 94, Omaha, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at Omaha General Baptist Church with the Rev. Blaine Felty officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Cox and Son Funeral Home, Ridgway.

He was the widower of Madalene (Spence) Dixon. He is survived by three sons, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
