Obituary: Patricia Ann 'Patty' Watson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Patricia "Patty" Ann Watson, 53, of Eldorado, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her residence after a long battle with cancer.

Patricia was born in Eldorado on Dec. 27, 1957, a daughter of the late Marie (Murphy) and Charles Watson.

She worked as a factory worker at GE Plastics prior to her sickness.

Patricia is survived by a sister, Beth Ann (Ronnie Page) Watson of Eldorado; close friends, Donna Stallings, Faye Baugher, Wanda Wood, Mary Hayes, Angie Gollihur and Vonda Page; uncle, Dr. Don Mitchell of Herrin; aunts and uncles, James Paul and Alice Watson of Effingham and Patrica Kennesdy of Missouri; and several cousins, close friends and loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arthur "Buddy" Watson; grandmother, Mary K. Watson; grandmother, Lena Mitchell; grandfather, Ralph Murphy; and several aunts and uncles.

Memorial service will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
