Obituary: Floyd Walter Mosby

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Floyd Walter Mosby, 59, 3730 Thacker Hollow Road, Junction, died 7:40 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado.

As per his wishes, his body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the charge of Watson Funeral Home, Eldorado.

He was born Aug. 16, 1951, to the late A.B. Mosby and Ama Edwards. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Josephine Mosby. He married Debra Kay Combs, who survives in Junction.

He was a member of Local No. 318 Operating Engineers in Marion and the Sons of the American Legion in Shawneetown.

He is survived by two sons, Clint (Susan) Mosby of McLeansboro and Jeremy (Mandy) Combs of Thompsonville; two daughters, Gena Andersen of Valrico, Fla. and Nancy (John) Kitchens of Ridgway; six brothers, Joe (Willabea) Mosby of Leamington, Eddie (Sudie) Mosby of Steger, Jerry (Virginia) Mosby of Elizabethtown, Webb (Gerry) Mosby of Raleigh, Clyde (Charlene) Mosby of Eldorado and Bill Mosby of Elizabethtown; four sisters, Reta (Emil) Allen of Eldorado, Linda (Thomas) Arnold of Carlton, Ga., Ama (John) Miller of Columbia, S.C. and Roxie (Steve) Ivy-Scharr of Evansville, Ind.; an uncle, Charles "Chuck" Edwards of Norris City; four grandchildren, Mariah Andersen, Kelly Mosby, Cole Mosby and Molly Kitchens; and a stepgrandchild, Adrian Kitchens.
