Obituary: Darrell Eugene Thrasher

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Darrell Eugene Thrasher, 48, of Ridgway, passed away quietly on Monday, July 4, 2011 in Deaconess Memorial Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Darrell is the son of Bob and Dorothy Thrasher of Ridgway.

The visitation and funeral service will be on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Souls Harbor Church in Ridgway. The family will begin receiving guests at 10 a.m. and the funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Lyndel Sork officiating. Burial will be in Crawford Campground Cemetery in Ridgway. Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of the arrangements.

Darrell was a landscape laborer by trade, a Christian by faith, a loving son, brother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Darrell is survived by his father and mother, Bob and Dorothy (Endicott) Thrasher; a brother, Larry Dean Thrasher and his wife Lucreita of Ridgway; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
