Obituary: Carol 'Big Momma' 'Knightrider' Yates

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carol "Big Momma" "Knightrider" Yates, 56, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at her home.

She was born April 22, 1955, in Harrisburg to Herbert and Norma (Durfee) Yates.

She is survived by one daughter, Nanette (Richard) Mills of Harrisburg; and two grandchildren, Cheyenne Mills and Kelee Mills. Carol graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1973, then attended Southeastern Illinois College to obtain a degree in social work.

She was a member of God's Redeeming Grace Ministries. She gave her life to God this year.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Roy C. DeWayne Durfee officiating.
