Obituary: Mary F. Pyle

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary F. Pyle, 73, Carrier Mills, died 2:40 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at St. Mary&#39;s Medical Center in Evansville, Ind.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011, at the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Harl Cockrum officiating. Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills.

She was born June 30, 1937, in Saline County to the late Granville D. and Equilla (Potts) Milligan. On Dec. 29, 1952, she married Billy J. Pyle, who survives.

She was a retired seamstress who worked at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Peoria. She was a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion Post No. 364 ladies&#39; auxiliary.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael (Linda) Pyle of Camden, Tenn.; three daughters, Valena (Tom) Randle of Peoria, Cheryl (George) Defenbaugh of Camden, Tenn., and Mary (Dan) Richardson of Columbia, Tenn.; one brother, David Milligan of Harrisburg; two sisters, Ruby Blazier of Harrisburg and Vivian Hickerson of Chanelview, Texas; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Faye Cisney.
