Kennith E. Sutherland
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kennith Sutherland, 54, of Dix, died at 7:16 p.m., June 12, 2011, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
He was born on Dec. 11, 1956, in Elgin, the son of Cecil Lavern Sutherland and Joan Sinclaire. On Feb. 26, 1977, he married Susan Hufford, and she survives in Harrisburg.
He attended school in Thawville and graduated from Salem High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and was an over-the-road truck driver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, K. C. Sutherland and wife Roxanne of Harrisburg; a daughter, Amber J. Sutherland of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Kassie Cheyanne Sutherland, Rhyse Hunter Sutherland and Ashley Terry, all of Harrisburg; three brothers, Steven Sutherland, Mike Sutherland and Denny Banson; and a sister, Karen Sutherland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; an aunt, Louise (Ellis) Sinclaire; and an Uncle, Walter Sinclaire.
A graveside funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2011, at Palestine Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.
