No injuries in school bus crash

<span>A Feb. 24 accident on Shawneetown Trail, one-tenth of a mile west of State Route 150, involved a school bus, according to an accident report from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.</span>

<span>The bus, driven by Sharon Hepp of Steeleville, was stopping to pick up children and had its amber warning lights activated when it was rear-ended by a 2005 Toyota Scion driven by 24-year-old Ashley Mulholland of Ellis Grove.</span>

<span>The accident occurred at 7:17 a.m. The report states Mulholland told the responding deputy, Eric Hamilton, that she had failed to see the bus.</span>

<span>The bus had only one passenger, a 14-year-old male, at the time of the accident. Neither Hepp, nor the passenger, was injured.</span>

<span>Mulholland, who was also not injured in the accident, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with a suspended license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.</span>
