Stella Blanche Pate

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Stella Blanche Pate, 74, of Harrisburg, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at her residence.

She was the widow of Frank Pate.

Stella was born in Golconda on Oct. 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Ishmer and Opal (Potts) Gibbs.

Stella is survived by a daughter, Janice Haney of Harrisburg; three sons, Steven (Mary) Pate of Ocean Springs, Miss., Curtis Pate of Harrisburg and Frankie Pate of Evansville, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Gibbs and Tommy Gibbs; and two sisters, Alice Howard and Nell Norman.

Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, with the Rev. Barry Bascom officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery.

Visitation is noon to service time Thursday at the funeral home.
