Norma Lee Figg

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Norma Lee Figg, 83, Carrier Mills, died 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

She was born on Sept. 11, 1927, in Linton, Ind., to Harry McAtee and Opal Inman McAtee. She was married to James Figg on July 8, 1945.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Carrier Mills and Eastern Star Lodge No. 140 of Linton, Ind. She was a former member of Comfort Rebekah Lodge No. 48 of Carrier Mills.

She is survived by her husband, James Figg; a son, Steve (Linda) Figg of Stonefort; two grandchildren, Scott (Rhonda) Figg of Stonefort and Jason Figg of Spring, Texas; and two great-grandchildren, Slayden Figg and Sienna Figg.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services were held 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery, Carrier Mills. Visitation was 11 a.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.

The family prefers memorials to the Carrier Mills First Baptist Church Building Fund.
