Betty Lou Rejniak
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Betty Lou Rejniak, 82, Perryville, Mo., formerly of Harrisburg, went to be with Jesus, her Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Betty was born on Feb. 12, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., and was the daughter of the Rev. Ransom M. and Margie (Meadows) Beckham.
She was married to Edward Paul Rejniak in 1947 until his death in 1997. They had two children, a daughter, Brenda Carol (Jim) Goins; and a son, Edward Paul (Dorothy) Rejniak Jr. She had two grandchildren, Michael Paul (Courtney) Rejniak and Melissa Marie (Brian) Foster. Betty also had three great-grandchildren, Gannon Rejniak and Jaren and Jillian Foster. Other survivors include her sister, Connie Catlett; and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Ronald and Bobby Beckham; and a sister, Shirley Mae Beckham.
In the year 2000, Betty and Robert W. "Bob" Dunn made a lifetime commitment and were the DJ team that had the "Nuttin' but Bluegrass Gospel" program every Saturday over WDBX 91.1 FM in Carbondale for several years until Bob's death on June 27, 2006. Betty was a member of the McKinley Avenue Baptist Church.
Private graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Friedens Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
