Laura Ellen White

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Laura Ellen White was born on Dec. 9, 1909, in Eldorado.

She passed away on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, in Daytona Beach, Fla. She left her family on the day after her 101st birthday.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Wolf Creek Cemetery.

Laura is survived by two daughters, Rosalyn White Powell of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Bonnie Young of Dallas, Texas; her granddaughters, Debbie McGrimley of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Cherie Trainor of Tallahassee, Fla. and Melissa Powell and Robert Newton Collins Powell of Daytona Beach, Fla. Laura also left several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, George White; two sisters; five brothers; her son, George White Jr.; one daughter, Lora Gene Hughes; one daughter-in-law, Virginia White; and two granddaughters, Brenda Ross and Terri White.
