Carl E. Justice
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carl E. Justice, 70, died Dec. 7, 2010, at his residence in Eldorado.
He was born in Eldorado on March 10, 1940, to the late Cecil and Lucille (Rapp) Justice. On Jan. 8, 1983, he married the former Susan (Scribner), who survives in Eldorado.
Carl was a part-owner of Eldorado Food Center, a well known coach, athletic director and teacher at Eldorado and Carmi High schools.
|He was a member of the Eldorado High School Sports Hall of Fame as a quarterback of the undefeated 1957 football team. He also was a member of the Carmi High School Sports Hall of Fame as a football and wrestling coach. He coached an undefeated football team at Carmi High School. He was a member of the Eldorado First Christian Church.
In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by a son Preston Justice of Raleigh; a stepson, Ross Romer of Centreville, Va.; a granddaughter, Ansley (Elliott) Daymon of Harrisburg; grandsons, Dylan (Melissa Gallimore) Justice of Galatia and Creed Justice of Eldorado; stepgranddaughters, Rebecca Romer of Carterville and Rachel Romer of Satellite Beach, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Justice Counts, Peyton Daymon and Destinee Justice; great-stepgranddaughters, Raechelle, ReAnna and Devonnia Gallimore; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beth and Rick Williams of Eldorado.
He was beloved son, husband, father and grandfather and he loved spending time with his family and traveling.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at the Watson Funeral Home with Dennis Robison officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at the Funeral Home. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to the Coach Kill Cancer Fund or First Christian Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
