</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Alan Dwain Gill, 63, husband of Ann Marie Bunn Gill of Summerville, S.C., died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at Bethany United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Summerville Cemetery. Friends called at Parks Funeral Home, Summerville, S.C., from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2010.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 118 W. Third South St., Summerville, S.C. 29483.
Mr. Gill was born on Sept. 21, 1947, in Harrisburg, a son of Phillip Ray Gill and Lula Mae Choate Gill.
He was a retired senior master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a Wing Antiterrorism Advisor for the U.S. Government.
Survivors include his mother, Lula Mae Choate Gill of Broughton; his wife, Ann M. Gill of Summerville, S.C.; two sons, Jim Gill and wife Catricia of Oregon and Matt Gill of Hilton Head, S.C.; one daughter, Abby Gill of Summerville, S.C.; two grandsons, Cormack Gill and Conner Gill, both of Oregon; and one sister, Luann Irvin of Broughton.
