Susie Pauline Stricklin-Paul

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Susie Pauline Stricklin-Paul, 88, Harrisburg, passed away at 5:55 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at Shawnee Rose Care Center.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1922, in Raleigh to the late William and Gertie (Vailes) Gobin. She first married Charles Wilson and he preceded her in death; she then married James Stricklin and he preceded her in death; she later married Phillip Francis Paul on April 8, 1995, and he preceded her in death in 2003.

Surviving family members include her three children, Louise Seeba of Hobart, Ind., Kay Partain of Harrisburg and Sharon (Bill) Donnelly of Harrisburg; 14 grandchildren, Vickie Ellis, Terri (Henry) Wachowski, Michael (Patti) Seeba, Angie (Robert) Soderquist, John (Trish) Winters, Kimberlie Winters, Sharie (Bill) Edwards, Pam (Kenny) Barnes, Jeff (Katherine) Donnelly, Kelli (Jon) Smith, Joseph Henson, Pam Mezo, Kevin (Mary) Wilson and Brian Wilson; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a son, Larry Wilson; and a daughter, Charlene Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John W. Winters will officiate. Burial will follow in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery.
