</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James W. Sloan, 74, Harrisburg, formerly of McLeansboro, died 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Private funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Sefried officiating. Burial will be in Braden Valley Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are in the charge of Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro.

He is survived by three brothers, three sisters-in-law, three sisters and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
