</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Joseph F. Bowers, 72, McLeansboro, died 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Way-Fair Nursing Home, Fairfield.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, with the Rev. Andy May officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Nina (Gaither) Kinnear Bowers; eight sons; five daughters; three sisters; 39 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
