Du Quoin library to 'eat ourselves around the world in chocolate' Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m.

Du Quoin Library Services director Kristina Benson is always up for something new.

Tonight at 6 p.m "I am sharing $40 worth of chocolate from around the world" with friends of the library.

The chocolate tasting event is free to patrons of the library.

She says it will help get you through post-Valentine's Day chocolate withdrawal.

Then on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. you are invited to attend "The Wow!" science show at Du Quoin City Hall.

The Science Center staff will show a series of "tricks" that seem like they are magic when, in reality, the are all explained by science.

Experience the "air cannon" and hovercraft. The show is FREE.
