"The play is based on Louisa May Alcott's Little Women," director Hannah Naas said.
The cast of 17 students and crew have been working since early September to get the production ready for the public, Naas said.
The tale, familiar to many, involves four young women growing up in the late 1800s from the perspective of one of the girls, Jo March, Naas said.
The production could not have become reality without a lot of help, Naas said.
"Janet Hart's fashion design class helped out with costumes," Naas said.
Also assisting with the production were several people from SIC, including music teacher Kurt Miyashiro, assistant director Jeff Keasler and the theater design class, who assisted with sets.
"SIC has been very helpful with this," Naas said.
