Trena Jo Chaney

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Trena Jo Chaney, 63, Savoy, formerly of Harrisburg, died at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, Harrisburg. There will be no visitation. Reed Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements. Those attending should gather at the cemetery.

Ms. Chaney was born April 2, 1947, the daughter of Lorene (Martin) and the late Wayne Kerr. She is survived by her sons, Eric Chaney and wife Sara of Savoy and Erin Chaney and wife Beth of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; grandchildren, Madison, Justin and Jessica Chaney of Savoy and Andrew, Hannah and Caleb Chaney of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and mother, Lorene Jones of Eldorado.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne; and brother, Phillip Wayne Kerr.

Ms. Chaney graduated from Harrisburg High School and received a bachelor of science degree at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and attended Fall Creek Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Ind. and was formerly a member of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
