Luther Max Beasley

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Luther Max Beasley of Lytle, Texas, died on May 21, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas.

In honor of his wishes, his body was cremated and a family graveside service was held at the Masonic Cemetery in Cave-In-Rock.

He was born on June 4, 1936, in Carrier Mills to the late Luther Glen and Pauline (Gowins) Beasley. On June 26, 2003, he married the former Paula Via, who survives.

Max worked 32 years at Sahara Coal Mines. He was also in the Army.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Gary B. (Tracy) Via of Paducah, Ky. and Chief Petty Officer Greg L. (Susana) Via of Alameda, Calif.; two brothers, Jim (Linda) Beasley of Harrisburg and Jerry Beasley of Indiana; two sisters, Orline (Joe) Williams of Marion and Patsy Downey of Marion; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace, Mary Kate and Ian B. Via of Paducah, Ky.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
